Not long ago I figured that blogging is an effective way to promote websites, most of the blogs I am working on are wordpress based, so far we all agree that WordPress is ideal for almost all kinds of blogging needs, people even use it as CMS, with the GPL liberal license make the WordPress the most famous and versatile blogging software of all time.
After a while I believed that build my own blogs will be more beneficial, because afterwards I can use the already built blogs to promote whatever I want, and I think its not a patentable idea, there are a lot of blog networks out there doing just that, the thing is that I don’t control those blogs, not to mention I can’t just post to them, its easy to understand that the price on those networks won’t be cheap.
Its quite difficult to manage more than a few blogs manually, if you don’t like garbage on your blogs,to write real stuff for your blogs will be time consuming, remember real value is always difficult to achieve. Check out a couple of interesting blogs, let’s examine this one, Zencart Design, the domain name is pretty good, the content on the site is not bad, since this is not a themed blog, you’ll find all kinds of different posts there. Check this one out, Home Security, this one has main theme, the content on the this site has a theme, there are a few well ranked keywords for this blog. there are more sites like these out there, though I guess you get the point already. Here is one last note, some of your blogs should not be very serious ones, put some random content on those blogs occasionally, just like this blog, Cheap Hosting, your blogging network looks more natural with these casual blogs.
After you successfully build a few blogs, probably you can add a few more blogs to your arsenal, then use the established blogs to promote the new ones, this is the way to build your own blogging network. Of course its just the beginning, to build a successful network will be much more complicated, there’s one thing you do have to keep in your mind is that don’t ruin your hard work just because you want to cut a few corners.
